the world is white

Currently i am sitting at home, blogging of course, while watching the snowflakes fall from the sky. I can't comprehend how each snowflake has its own unique design. Last night we got around six inches of snow, so the world around me is white.

I wish, I wish
I could see afar
Way beyond the northern star
To glimpse of wonders
Not made by chance
Or us, mankind, somehow in advance
But by He who holds us in his arms
Loving, loving, warding off harm
So may I not, or if I may
See the wonders of today
I still remain where I shall stand
Forever held by His own hand
No wish, no wish
One can make
To take me to a happier place
